Sender Requirements

Every production sender is responsible for identity, recipient quality, authentication, and healthy sending practices.

1. Domain ownership

You may only send from domains and identities that you own, control, or are expressly authorized to use. Sendout may require DNS verification before production sending.

2. Authentication

Production sending should use DKIM and SPF. DMARC is strongly recommended and may be required for higher-risk or higher-volume use cases.

3. Recipient quality

Do not send to guessed, stale, purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, or otherwise non-consensual addresses. Maintain accurate recipient records and remove invalid recipients.

4. Content expectations

Message content, sender name, subject, and reply paths must accurately represent the sender and purpose. Transactional messages must remain consistent with the event that caused them to be sent.

5. Bounce and complaint response

You must act promptly on bounce and complaint signals. Repeated sending to known invalid or complaining recipients is prohibited.

6. Volume changes

Sudden or unexplained volume increases may trigger rate limits or review. Customers should ramp legitimate volume gradually and maintain consistent sending patterns.

7. Investigation

Sendout may ask for recipient acquisition details, sample messages, consent flows, domain information, or remediation steps. Failure to provide adequate information may result in continued restrictions.
