Deliverability starts before send.
Healthy delivery is a product of sender authentication, recipient quality, suppression, content expectations, and disciplined monitoring.
Verified domains
Custom production sending domains must be verified. Senders may not impersonate domains or identities they do not control.
Authentication
DKIM and SPF should be configured for production sender domains. DMARC is strongly recommended and may be required for higher-risk use cases.
Recipient quality
Send only to valid recipients who reasonably expect the message. Purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, or guessed addresses are prohibited.
Suppression
Hard-bounce and complaint recipients must not be repeatedly contacted. Sendout may apply suppression at account, tenant, or configuration scope.
Complaints
Complaint patterns are treated as a serious reputation signal. Sendout may immediately restrict sending while the cause is investigated.
Unsubscribe
Where a message is subscription-based or promotional, senders must provide a clear opt-out path and honor requests promptly.
Reputation enforcement
Sendout may reduce quotas, rate-limit, pause, or terminate sending when activity creates elevated bounce, complaint, abuse, security, or compliance risk. Customers are expected to remediate root causes rather than simply remove individual problem recipients.
