API and SMTP credentials are intended for server-side use. Customers must protect and rotate credentials if compromise is suspected.
Transport security
Production interfaces are designed for encrypted network transport. Customers should use TLS-capable clients and modern protocol settings.
Access control
Administrative access should follow least privilege, with operational separation and logging for sensitive actions.
Sender verification
Domain verification reduces unauthorized sender impersonation and is a prerequisite for custom production sending.
Monitoring
Security, delivery, abuse, and operational signals may be logged and reviewed to detect misuse and investigate incidents.
